FRED Awards $35,000 in Grants to Rural Schools

FRED awards 52 scholarships to rural students

This year FRED awarded 52 Scholarships to rural students. FRED would like to congratulate the 2011 Class of FRED Scholars.

Rural High School Students Take Part in Leadership Through Learning Program

In April 2011, FRED welcomed 12 rural high school students from across the country to Washington D.C. During their time in Washington, the students were able to visit all the major monuments and memorials, even visit with their members of Congress.
